Students are to create opportunities to sensitize your community to environmental
issues. For example: promote efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle; educate
your neighbors and/or community; organize school assembly presentations,
performances or Earth Day activities; create and present educational short
stories or activities for elementary school students; improve neighborhoods;
create an 11x17 ”poster with an environmental message; document
environmentally-friendly lifestyle changes that you have adopted; write
letters to influential people on environmental issues; etc.
