The Fairchild Tropical Garden Debate Challenge took place on January 27.
The St. Brendan students that participated were Andrea Alhadari, Jacqueline Cortizo and Eduardo Sanchez. Jacqueline and Eduardo were both involved with the congress part of the competition, which dealt with issues that pertained to the environment and the Everglades. About 50 other competitors from other schools also participated in the event. Andrea took part in the Lincoln/Douglas debates that were also a part of the competition.
