Requirements: Must be in 11th or 12th grade and must have an average of 85% or higher in every math course taken. Also, have the minimum service points required.

    Purpose: The Math Honor Society is an organization for students who excel in the subject of Math. In order to be inducted in this society, they must have a commendable academic record and must show dedication and responsibility. The Math Honor Society demonstrates concern towards the community by participating in several service projects. To stimulate a deeper and more effective interest in mathematics.

Activities: Together with the Math Club, Mu Alpha Theta organizes bake sales, car washes, toy and food drives, and many other events. In addition to fundraising projects, the Math Honor Society serves both the Sabre community. Mu Alpha Theta members clean boards, file papers, and tutor students in the areas of Algebra, Math Analysis, and Calculus.
