The
Development Director, Mrs. Bertha S. Alvarez handles all aspects
of our Development Program. Mrs. Alvarez works with parents,
alumni, faculty, and students.

DEVELOPMENT
FUND
Tuition is not enough to cover all operational expenses. In
addition to the tuition payment, St. Brendan has a Development
Fund to which all parents are expected to contribute. We provide
our students with an environment that is safe, and conducive
to learning; therefore we need the income from the Development
Fund.
All contributions to the Development Fund are tax-deductible.
Parents
of all incoming students are required to attend a meeting
with the Development Director. This meeting has two purposes:
a) To become acquainted personally with the Development Director,
the school, and school policies.
b) To create an individualized contribution plan. Amounts
are to be contributed in monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or
annual payments, which will be in place for the 4 years of
the student's attendance at SBHS. The amount and manner of
the contribution are determined during this meeting.
After
students are admitted to the school, all new parents must
call the Development Office at 305-223-5181 ext. 561 to set
an appointment with Mrs. Bertha Alvarez, the Development Director.
This interview is required, and it is part of the admission
process of the student.
MATCHING
GIFTS
SBHS accepts Matching Gifts. Please contact the department
of Human Resources in your company, and ask for the necessary
forms.
IN
MEMORY OF GIFTS
In Memory of Gifts are accepted, and will be acknowledged
at the end of the school year in the Development Report.
Please
call the Development Director at 305-223-5181 ext. 565 to
set specifics.
PLANNED
GIVING
St. Brendan High accepts Planned Giving donations such as
Living Wills or Trusts.
Please contact the Development Director for specifics.
IN
KIND GIFTS/SERVICES
SBHS gratefully accepts in kind gifts or services needed for
the school, or any of its events.
